It's the day before Ella travels back to Hungary. Jo finds Ella crying and when Jo asks her why she's so sad, Ella confesses that the only reason she came to Portugal was to get revenge. She tells Jo about the postcard she found. Ella continues by saying she's so sorry for having slept with Jo's step-mother and step-sister. Jo say it's ok, but Ella says it's not ok. She believes now that the actual reason for coming here was to see Jo. She says she can't stop thinking about her. They give each other a long hug.
Later that evening the two of them are up in Jo's bedroom, and Ella watches Jo as she's changing into her nightgown. Then they brush their teeth, or at least they try to, because they're both giggling a lot. When they're lying on the bed together, they tell each other good night, and Jo turns off the light. Ella turns it back on though, and says she forgot to kiss her good night. They give each other a quick lip-kiss and the light is turned off again. Once again, the light is turned on, Jo says that the kiss was so short. Ella asks her if she wants a bigger one, which Jo apparently says yes to.
I must mention again how great the lighting is used. It's a pretty dark scene but unlike so many other dark scenes, you never become irritated that you're missing out on something. Viv and his team know exactly where to place the little light there is, and the result is absolutely beautiful.
