Jo arrives at the house and the door is opened by Lisa's daughter Ella. Jo is then welcomed by Lisa and the two of them sit down at the kitchen table. Lisa explains to Jo that she likes a quiet house with no boys. Jo thinks that sounds good..she has a lot of exams at Christmas and will be studying mostly. Lisa explains that one of the conditions for staying there is that she helps clean the house. Jo says she understands and it's decided that she can stay.
Later another girl arrives at the house. It's Katie, who must share a room and bed with Ella as there are no more rooms left. When Lisa presents Katie to her daughter and she explains to Ella about the bedding arrangement, both Ella and Katie look quite pleased.
