The Roman Emperor Caligula has become a blood-thirsty God by sucking up all Aphrodite's powers. The former Goddess of love has totally lost her mind in the same time as her powers. Xena and Gabrielle try to save her and the world from the mad God. But Aphrodite doesn't recognize her friends, and gets a little too enthusiastic when she sees Gabrielle. She kisses her on the lips for two mere seconds before Gabrielle pushes her back. Well, after all, Gabrielle is committed to Xena, she can't go kissing every pretty girl going by, can she ?

Aphrodite and Gabrielle are alone in a hall, and Aphrodite's got problems to walk straight. Gabrielle is worried for her friend, who behaves quite strangely and doesn't walk really straight, and asks her if she's ok. The Goddess answers that everything is just fine and pushes not so gently Gabrielle against a wall to kiss her. The bard, first stunned, doesn't react immediately but rapidly pushes back the Goddess, letting out a supposed-to-be-outraged "What are you doing?" that puts a knowing smile on every xenite's (=xena's fan) face.

The scene is short but cute, and for those who know the serie, it's one of those little signs that make the show, well, what it is.
