Katie is the main character's sister, a lawyer who's still in the closet. She got set up on a blind date with Kari's ex-husband, who ends up having to go to the hospital. While Katie's sitting in the corridor, Kari comes up to her and after noticing a smear of ink at the corner of Katie's mouth, suggestively licks her thumb to rub it off. Later, in his hospital room, they're making goo-goo eyes at each other and Kari can't wait to give Katie a ride home. "At least you know it wasn't you," the lead character says to him, who'd been in total shock. He later falls in love with Lisa, his nurse, but gets a little concerned when she looks at another woman with interest in a souvenir shop.

Katie is forced to take care of her injured father when she and Kari are supposed to be hanging out together. After drugging the father, Kari shows up at the house. There's implied kissing, but they're lying on the floor behind something and nothing can be seen, although Kari does lean in to kiss Katie on the mouth, who turns her head to the right so it nearly ends up on her cheek when Kari reveals she's bisexual rather than fully lesbian.

More comic than erotic. In "Pink Flamingoes," the father shows up in the living room, watching them get it on while under the influence, then tells his other daughter at the end of the show, "By the way, did you know our basic cable comes with lesbian porn?"
