A study of four different families as they celebrate Thanksgiving. In one of the families, a woman (Kyra Sedgwick) is bringing her girlfriend (Julianna Margulies) home for dinner.

Actresses:
Kyra Sedgwick & Julianna Margulies

They're lying in bed, talking about Kyra's parents and hugging. It's not so much anything that they're doing here, they just give off a real couply vibe and it really does feel like they're in love.

Actresses:
Kyra Sedgwick & Julianna Margulies

Kyra is looking in the mirror getting ready, Julianna comes in through the door behind her and Kyra goes running up to her and they start kissing. It looks really nice and natural and it's a lovely kiss too.

This is such a great movie! The lesbian aspect is just a nice bonus on top of a fabulous film. I recommend it to anyone :)

Kingkenny:
Touching portrait of three culturally different families (Hispanic, Black and Jewish) and how they respond to thanksgiving tragedies. The lesbian character is the daughter of the jewish family and brings her domestic partner to her parents home for thanksgiving diner.
This is a sometimes funny and painful film anyonne can identify with especially if you've brought your girlfriend to a family gathering. Excellent performances and creative transitions/connections to each family. I recommend seeing it.
