Lesbian storyline: (unknown episode #2 - unknown episode #9)
This isn't the most realistic lesbian storyline I've seen in a mainstream TV-series, but it is certainly the most exciting one. It outclasses everything I've seen before, and it was highly enjoyable to follow it.
The characters:
Carla (played by Claudia Hiersche): Carla is one of the main characters in this daily soap. She's an out lesbian, and she's extremely wealthy.
Vanessa (played by Inez Björg David): Vanessa is Carla's spoiled (and very straight) stepdaughter. She constantly uses her good looks and youthful charm to wrap everyone around her finger.
Anke (played by Annika Peimann): Anke is a beautiful and seductive lesbian, and she is Carla's new girlfriend.
Coco (played by Mariangela Scelsi): Coco is one of Vanessa's friends.
Unknown episode #2: Vanessa is far from pleased with her stepmother's new girlfriend. She's convinced that Anke is just after Carla's money. Vanessa argues with Anke all the time, but Anke doesn't take the bait. Instead, she tries to be kind to Vanessa. One morning when Anke is leaving the house, Vanessa runs after her, and confronts her with her suspicions. In the middle of their conversation, Anke suddenly tries to kiss her. Vanessa becomes furious and runs away.
Vanessa goes to Carla and explains to her that Anke tried to kiss her. Carla, who is fully aware how much Vanessa dislikes Anke, doesn't believe her. Carla knows, from previous experiences, that Vanessa is capable of saying anything to get her will through.
Later in the evening, Vanessa and Anke bump into each other outside the house, and Anke begins to flirt shamelessly with her. Vanessa becomes shy and doesn't know how to act.
Unknown episode #3: Carla and Anke have spent a romantic evening together, and they are now in Carla's bathroom getting ready for the night. They kiss each other and move into the bedroom. Carla puts on a CD, and they're soon making love on the bed. Just when Carla disappears under the cover to go down on Anke, the bedroom door opens, and Vanessa is standing in the doorway. Carla didn't hear the door open, so she's unaware of this. Vanessa is looking quite shocked, but she doesn't leave right away. Anke opens her eyes, and sees Vanessa standing there. She looks at Vanessa with dreamy eyes for a while, before Vanessa finally leaves the room. Carla's head pops up from under the cover. She asks Anke if anything is wrong, but Anke says it's nothing.
Unknown episode #4: Anke shows up in Carla's office room, and begins to convince her to stop working. They end up kissing and caressing on a sofa. Meanwhile, Vanessa has decided to use a new tactic. She's now fully aware that Anke is very attracted to her. Vanessa will try and use this to her advantage. The plan is to make herself so irresistible to Anke that she will take a risk by coming onto Vanessa when they're at home, and then hope that Carla will catch Anke doing this, and break up with her. Another part of the plan is to make sure that Carla and Anke are spending as little time with each other as possible.
Vanessa takes Anke out on lunch, and Vanessa sends a clear message to Anke that she's curious. Before Anke leaves, Anke writes down the address to her own apartment, on a piece of paper, and gives it to Vanessa. When Anke is gone, Vanessa tears the paper apart. It's not going to happen anywhere else than in Carla's house.
Unknown episode #5: Anke is taking a bath when Vanessa enters the room. After having put on some make-up, Vanessa walks over to Anke to show off in front of her. Anke enjoys every moment of it. Suddenly, Anke stands up in the bathtub, and an embarrassed Vanessa looks away. That same evening, Vanessa manages to show up just when things have become a bit romantic between Carla and Anke. Carla looks very displeased when Vanessa sits down with them in the sofa, but Anke doesn't mind at all.
Unknown episode #6: Carla and Anke are having wondrous sex one morning, but they are very soon interrupted. Vanessa puts on a special song on the CD player, a song which she knows that Carla and her former girlfriend always used to listen to. This becomes a real mood breaker of course, and much to Vanessa's enjoyment, it doesn't take long until they come out from Carla's bedroom.
Later when Vanessa is taking a bath and Anke shows up, it's Anke's turn to take advantage of this. Anke is standing by the tub talking to her, when Vanessa reaches for her towel, but Anke quickly grabs it. Vanessa hesitates for a moment, but stands up in the bath tub. Anke is admiring Vanessa's naked body for quite a while, and Vanessa looks very pleased to see how much it affects her. Vanessa wants to tease her even more so she says: "This body is not for you.." Then she grabs the towel, and leaves the bathroom.
Unknown episode #7: Carla has arranged a dinner for Anke, Vanessa and a couple of her friends. During the dinner, Anke and Vanessa occasionally give each other some pretty seductive looks, and it seems like Carla has begun to suspect something. At one point, Anke suddenly feels a bare foot stroking against her boots. She looks at Vanessa as if she's asking "What are you doing? Are you crazy?" Later that evening, Anke is unable to resist Vanessa anymore. When Anke comes out from the bathroom next to Carla's bedroom, Vanessa is waiting for her outside. Anke wonders where Carla is. Vanessa says she had to make a phone-call, and won't be back for a long while. The truth is that she has just gone downstairs to quickly fetch something. Vanessa asks Anke to help her with the zipper on her dress. Vanessa knows that this is the moment. She turns around, and their faces are very close. She seductively whispers: "What do you think? " She slowly turns around again, and smiles when Anke begins to kiss her neck, and tells her how good she smells. Only seconds later, Carla walks back into the bedroom and sees what is going on, and all hell breaks loose.
Unknown episode #8: I'm not exactly sure why the following things happen in unknown episode #8 and #9. It's a bit confusing since I don't understand German so well, but this is my best guess.
Everything should be fine in Vanessa's life, now when Carla and Anke have broken up, but it's not. Carla immediately lets Vanessa know that she doesn't buy her story about what's been happening these last weeks. Vanessa feels she has to change her story somewhat, so she tells Carla that she sort of encouraged Anke (in a very innocent way of course, just out of curiosity). To make things even worse, all of this flirting has made her think about Anke a lot, and she has begun to feel a real attraction towards her.
She tells her friend Coco the whole story, and Coco is really understanding. She even gives her a book with the title "Still Pretty Normal? When Women Suddenly Love Women". Vanessa and Coco later kiss each other to see what it's like. Vanessa really likes the kiss, and decides to contact Anke..
Unknown episode #9: Vanessa and Anke meet each other in a bar. Vanessa says to her that she's so sorry for what she's done (although Anke is far from being an innocent victim in this story). She also explains how attracted she feels to her. Anke smiles while listening to Vanessa, and then says: "Prove it to me." Next, you can see Vanessa letting Anke into her college dorm room. Vanessa is really nervous when they eventually begin to kiss, and just as Anke is about to unzip Vanessa's pants, Vanessa tells her that she doesn't want to go any further at this moment.
From what I understand, they never actually do it. Anke is soon loosing interest in Vanessa, and Vanessa goes back to her heterosexual lifestyle (for a while at least).
