Review this gameELMS front page

Bloodlines is one of my all-time favorite games, despite its ridiculously long loading times, numerous bugs, and general poor performance. In this role playing game, you begin by choosing, among other things, your character's gender and which one of the seven vampire clans it should belong to. When you've completed the character creation, you're thrown into a highly atmospheric city where your character must try and survive. You will meet numerous interesting voice acted characters throughout the game, of which most are women.

Before I describe the lesbian aspects of this game, I want to mention a chapter in the game which I think is the scariest one in gaming history. I seldom get scared when I watch movies, but games are another thing. Maybe it's because you're in control over the character? Anyway, in this chapter, your character is visiting an abandoned haunted hotel one night, and if you're like me and enjoy being scared, I suggest that you play this chapter alone in a dark room, and with the volume turned up. You won't forget the experience!

Ok, let's try and list all the things your female character can do in this game:

  • She can try and seduce various women in clubs, in order to make them willingly let her suck their blood. If her seduction skill is high enough, you will have additional dialogue options that you can choose from.

  • She can buy the services of female prostitutes, in order to lure them away from the street to a place where no one can see you.

  • She can flirt with Jeanette, who runs a club together with her sister Therese. She may also have sex (not shown though) with Jeanette later on if everything goes well, but it's really difficult to make this happen. This is a role playing game in its true sense, which means that everything you say and do has consequences. If you say or do anything at all which Jeanette doesn't like, she will not be interested in your female character in that way.

  • She can develop romantic feelings for a woman who owns a fashionable strip club, and who's a vampire herself.

  • She can buy lap dances from strippers in order to lure them away to a private room.

  • She can (almost) let herself be seduced in a hotel suite, by a woman who's the leader of a mysterious cult.

  • She can get herself a female ghoul named Heather. A ghoul is a vampire's human helper/slave. A human can become bound to a vampire if he or she drinks the vampire's blood. When your character is sneaking around in a hospital, she notices a badly injured girl in the emergency, and if you give her some of your blood which heals her because of its powers, she may later become your ghoul. If she becomes your ghoul, she will move into your character's apartment, and she will do anything for her!
