This movie is the story of five interwoven stories of women's lives. The lesbian part consists of Calista Flockhart and Valeria Golino. Flockhart is a tarot card reader who is caring for her lover, Golino who I think is dying from sort of cancer. As they mourn, they remember how they met and so on.

Actresses:
Valeria Golino & Calista Flockhart

I haven't seen the movie in a while so I can't remember it well. I believe they kiss two or three times in the entire section. There is when they first meet and that's a memory, and then while Golino is lying in bed dying. Really lovely because it's so sad and it looks like they're actually in love.

I watched this movie once and then I watched this section several times because even though it was tragic, it was absolutely beautiful. Some of the people I know who saw this thought it was pretty boring. I thought it was terrific, the acting, the artistic filming, etc. I'm no whiz on lesbian film but I thought this was pretty damn good and besides that, the two are pretty hot.

This is NOT a lesbian film..just has a lesbian couple in it but i totally agree with kym in that this movies beauty lies in the tragedy of its interwoven story. Im sad to say the movie does have a very slow start but if you can make it through that then the rest is pretty much worth it. And Valeria is absoulutly beautiful even during her sickness..I mean who can resist that cute accent..

First of all, this is not a lesbian film but... but it is worth trying ! The third (or maybe the fourth) story ("Good night Christine, Good night Lilly ") with the gorgeous Calista is really moving, stirring... all of you must see it even if it's not entirely about lesbians because it's a real good movie !!! (excuse my bad english, I'm french...)
