Plot: (from 7M Pics)
Snakewoman tells the story of an art dealer (Fata Morgana) tracking down the owners of a collection of films, art and music. The artist is a cult figure and long since thought dead. When she meets the artist’s surviving relatives, she discovers them living a life of hedonism. The woman is swept into the group and becomes one with a mysterious vampire-like snakewoman (Carmen Montes) who seems to be the reincarnation of the artist herself.
Lesbian content:
This movie is directed by the legendary Jess Franco. He must be one of the most productive filmmakers ever. IMDB lists 187 movies that he's directed (first one is from 1957). He has always been very fascinated by lesbians. I would say that at least 90% of the movies that he's directed have lesbian scenes, and in this movie, the lesbian couple also live happily ever after. Jess Franco is 76 years old today, and it's nice to see that he's still going strong. I haven't enjoyed many of his movies made after 1982, but this one was very nice. Here he has returned to the style which made him a cult figure in the 1970s.
