This is, without a doubt, the best U.S. softcore movie I've seen (although the competition in this category isn't too hard). I first heard of Roommate Wanted only a month ago when I read on a wrestling site that WWE Diva Candice Michelle had been doing "hot lesbian scenes" in a softcore movie. Another site reported that Belinda Gavin, who's been a contestant on "American Gladiator", also was in it.
I began looking for the DVD, but first couldn't find it. I was shocked when I realized that it's never been released in the USA! I did manage to locate a DVD for sale on an Australian site though (www.classicbargains.com.au).
(UPDATE: The DVD is apparently out of stock now, since it's no longer listed there. Maybe you can find the DVD elsewhere or ask them if they will receive more copies.)
When I finally got to see the movie, it was even better than I had expected. Candice Michelle is in no less than 4 lesbian scenes. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that there are no hetero scenes in the movie!
Belinda Gavin, who's one of my favorite softcore actresses, plays the lead role, and the filmmakers couldn't have chosen a better actress to play the lesbian seductress. It is so apparent that Belinda simply loves women, and the best thing is that the feeling is mutual. She must have something special which attracts women, because no matter who she's doing a scene with, she always manages to bring out the best from her partner. Belinda is also something as unique as a bull rider turned softcore movie actress! What a career move! :)
