This is in essence a follow up to the "Gay/Straight Alliance" episode featured earlier in the the 3rd and final season of the wonderful ABC drama "Once and Again". Following their magical first kiss in that previous episode, Evan Rachel Wood and Mischa Barton's characters where shown here being playfully in love.

In a seemingly innocent and albiet short lived scene, Evan and Mischa's characters go to the ice box to retrieve something and we peek in on them from inside. First Evan takes a quick look to see that none of the family is watching and then kisses Mischa's cheek playfully.Mischa smiles broadly obviously enjoying the moment in time. She turns to Evan and they stair at each other for a split second before they share another kiss.Closing the fridge door,we see Evan whisper something to Mischa and she smiles again.

Just about the sweetest and most endearing moment of the TV season for me. It only took a brief few seconds or so for the entire scene to unfold and before you knew it, it was over. The reason this scene made so much sense, is the wonderful buildup to the story that had taken place over the previous 8 to 10 episodes that Evan and Mischa appeared in together as their "Jessie and Katie" characters.
Edward Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz deserve a momentual amount of credit for having the courage to run with such a daring storyline. As do Evan and Mischa for giving such incredibly wonderful performances on screen. This scene and the previous episode will go down in history as one of the most sincere moments of TV ever broadcast. Well to me at least.
