Annual MTV Video Music Awards for 2003, opening act starred Madonna, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears all performing at once.

Girls kissing:
Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears & Madonna

In the opening act, Britney came out singing Madonna's song "Like a Virgin" dressed as a bride. Then Christina came out dressed the same way. Then came Madonna singing her own newest song. She sang between Britney and Christina going back and forth teasing Britney and Christina, dancing with them back and forth. Then Madonna removed Christina's garter and Britney got a jealous look on her face. Britney crouched down and looked upset. Madonna put her hand under Britney's chin, slowly raised her back to her feet and moved in and kissed her. Then Madonna reached over and kissed Christina the same way.

This was the greatest thing I have seen in a long time! It was a total shock seeing little innocent Miss Virgin Britney Spears locking lips with Madonna. It wasnt so shocking when Christina did it but it still got a raise out of the crowd and myself as well. I just wish it was Christina and Britney kissing, that has been my fantasy since they both came out. I rated the kiss so high because 2 of the hottest females in the music industry kissed the legendary Madonna, what could possibly be better than that?

This was great when it happened, but now in retrospect it wasn't that good of a kiss. Britney opens her mouth, but unfortunately Madonna doesn't take advantage. The kiss warrants some bonus points, however, for who is involved. Maybe next time we'll see Christina and Britney together. This seemed to open a door of sorts as well because I'm now seeing a lot of video of Britney Spears dancing sexily with other girls.

The kiss was Christina's idea. Britney had to be pushed to kiss Madonna during commercials, but took advantage of the situation on the live show. Christina wanted to kiss Britney, but Brit wasn't into the idea.
Besides the above, Christina is ticked (as am I) because we got to see Justin Timberlake instead of seeing Madonna kiss Christina.
I'm rather shocked MTV hasn't released it on DVD, but they have done a show on it after the award show, stating the first paragraph.
Kiss-wise it was a surprise, so there was no build-up. It could have been A LOT better, but what can you expect with Britney involved. Don't know if any other girl/girl kiss will be more publicized than this kissing event was.

A truly awesome spectacle. Granted we all know it was set up, it was still absolutely fantastic. The outfits were excellent and the dancing was okay but for them to actually kiss, was something i definitely didn't expect.
Britney and Madonna looked like they were really into it, and it was a proper open mouth kiss too. Xtina's kiss was good too, well for what we got to see of it, but i seriously wish she would cut down on the fake tan. Overall it was a real treat to have the older experienced woman Madonna, kiss ''the Virginal Britney Spears''.
However one final note is that, i hope MTV fired that muppet, of a director who cut away, to Justin T******snake during the Madonna and xtina kiss.
