|Plot: (from TLA)|
Emile Zola's classic erotic novel about a Parisian streetwalker, Nana, who, by seducing the rich and powerful, becomes the toast of Parisian society, is successfully brought to the screen. The sensuous Berger plays the lusty and ambitious woman with Aumont also starring as her most ardent and long-suffering lover.
Nana (Katya Berger) is a very lonely girl despite all the attention she's getting. "Everyone wants me, but nobody loves me", she says. At a social gathering, she's introduced to a wealthy lesbian (played by Katya's real-life half-sister Debra Berger!). Later in the movie, the two of them begin an affair.
