In this complex triangle of love among college girlfriends and a covetous brother, the majestic city of Bucharest is more luminous than tales of lore have described. Alexandra, a young country girl moves to Bucharest for college and meets gregarious Kiki, who adds a dangerous edge to the good girl’s studious ways. The girls fall madly in love and leave the city to spend an idyllic summer in Alexandra’s small hometown. All is well until Kiki’s jealous brother Sandu arrives, causing buried secrets to bubble to the surface.
