The premise of the film is that a collection of college kids will be working in a charity haunted house located in the small town of Hallows End (presumably Texas due to the fact they use the name of a famous haunted house charity in the Fort Worth area). They all arrive at the haunted house to prepare it for the visitors and they meet up with the local Halloween guru, Pumpkin Jack(who turns out to have a sinister part to play). He supplies them with a variety of cheap props for the haunted house. Among the props is what appears to be a spellbook.
Later on the costumed college kids begin to get killed off and they literally transform into the forms of their costumes(ie one becomes a vampire, one a evil grotesque pirate looking creature) and its revealed the spellbook was genuine and the girl Heidi has been using it to conduct an evil ritual.

Brandy Little & Amy Jo Hearron

As soon as Jill gets back to the warehouse, she seeks out Kira and the obligatory "You need to get rid of that jerk" conversation commences. They also go back to the room Kira has already prepared to bunk down in for the night. After a few words of affection and assurances they will be quite alone they get to the business of tender lovemaking. While there is never really anything more gratuitous in the nudity then some bared breasts, the kissing is pretty decent and looks natural. The only thing I felt was lacking was the duration because after the initial kissing and dropping to the bed all you see is about 1 minute of various caresses and a few nibbles on the neck etc before you see them already cuddling before the scene fades out to the next morning.
The most amusing thing is that when someone asks the gathered group how they all slept, Kira smiles over at Jill and gives her a slight wink right with her boyfriend standing behind her, and when Jill beams a bit, he has the audacity to think its because she was again happy to see him, though he was disappointed he couldn't find her when he came back the previous night.

There are a few stereptypical characters, such as the bullying jerk jock, the sentimental nice-guy, etc. There are also a pair of love triangles both centering on the character Jill. Her old boyfriend is one of the characters and he is dating the girl Heidi, while Jill has moved on to the self proclaimed leader of the group, Dan, and secretly she is also having an affair with her best friend Kira. So the triangle formed by the pining ex boyfriend and his current girlfriend, and the one formed by Jill's current boyfriend and HER secret girlfriend allow the characters to interact in interesting ways.
While technically not a love scene at all, The only other scene that would have any real interest between these characters even for simply the emotional value (at least with them both being mobile) is when Kira (who had been killed in a previous scene) is brought forth at the finale under the control of the person behind all the evil transformations, Heidi, and is commanded to kill Jill but she is fighting the entire time to resist. Presumably she does actually suceed and even as a zombie she shows her regret and sorrow for the act. Eventually its shown that Jill isn't dead after all and she is revived by Tom. They are about to escape when the zombie Kira gives her a forlorn look as she gestures for her to get to safety as she and the other transformed victims of the witch turn on Heidi and kill her instead.
Overall i thought the film as a whole was a nice attempt at a relatively low budget horror and while the storyline came across as a little convoluted with the various love triangles and the evil ancestry of Heidi and the unknown quality of Pumpkin Jack its good for a Halloween chuckle.

I picked this movie up because I read about the love triangle between the guy and the two girls. This is another low budgety horror flick, but I actually liked it. The story was kinda stupid and there wasn't any real horror, but I liked the love story. It did focus a lot on the two main girl characters and even though the one girl dies, the other one doesn't go back to men or anything like that. Hot actresses and some nice scenes (blonde feeling up the brunette, 'lovescene', etc.) Rent it if you don't have anything particular in mind.
