The story focuses on the people working at the luxurious vacation resort 'Eden' somewhere in Mexico. In an earlier episode, a young relative to the woman who owns 'Eden' came to work there as a workout instructor. She is played by Darcy DeMoss.
One day when DeMoss is in the gym, she spots a woman who she instantly recognizes. It's the very rich owner (Elisa Pensler-Gabrielli) of a famous cosmetics company. Pensler-Gabrielli notices DeMoss too and they look at each other from a distance for a while. DeMoss' character is a fortune seeker and she of course notices the way Pensler-Gabrielli looked at her..that she's clearly interested in her. Soon after when Pensler-Gabrielli walks into the Sauna, she sees DeMoss lying naked there. After having talked for a while, DeMoss decides to make her first move. She sits up, wets a sponge and squeezes out the water from it onto her naked body while Pensler-Gabrielli is watching everything with obvious excitement.
When DeMoss says it's time for her to go back to work and is about to leave the Sauna, Pensler-Gabrielli finally asks her the thing she's been waiting for. She asks her if she would like to have dinner with her and her male assistant/lover. With a pleased look on her face, DeMoss turns around and accepts the invitation.

When DeMoss shows up at Pensler-Gabrielli's suite, it turns out that it's just the two of them who are going to have dinner. The guy is nowhere to be seen. Pensler-Gabrielli tells her that he has become sick. A while into the dinner, when Pensler-Gabrielli has flirted with DeMoss quite a lot, DeMoss says: "He's not sick, is he?" Pensler-Gabrielli admits: "No, I sent him away for the evening.."
DeMoss looks at Pensler-Gabrielli's watch so much that Pensler-Gabrielli asks her if she has a date or something. "No", says DeMoss. She has no date and at the same the she also happens to mention the fact that she has lost her own watch a while ago.
After the dinner, when they're still sitting at the table, Pensler-Gabrielli takes DeMoss' hands. DeMoss, playing hard to get, tells her that she must leave. Pensler-Gabrielli follows her down the stairs leading to the main hotel building. She stops DeMoss who thanks her for the dinner. They kiss each other on the cheeks but Pensler-Gabrielli doesn't let her leave yet. She kisses her on the lips. DeMoss doesn't object but it's still a very cautious kiss. Pensler-Gabrielli starts to unzip the buttons on DeMoss' blouse. She looks down at DeMoss' breasts and then into her eyes and says: "You are so beautiful." DeMoss excuses herself and says that she really must go now.

Pensler-Gabrielli is being massaged when DeMoss shows up. Pensler-Gabrielli gives a signal to the masseur to leave. DeMoss strokes Pensler-Gabrielli's legs as she's walking pass her and on her wrist you can see a brand new gold watch. Pensler-Gabrielli says: "I was just thinking about you.." DeMoss: "Now I've got some time on my hands thanks to you." Pensler-Gabrielli kisses the inside of DeMoss' hands and now, after having received the beautiful gift, DeMoss decides to give in and is actually the one who takes the initiative to the passionate kiss which ends the scene.

They wake up the morning after having made love for the first time. DeMoss is late for work and tries to leave the bed but Pensler-Gabrielli won't let her go. She pleads with a soft voice: "Play with me.." DeMoss smiles and says that she's so late and that she really has to go.
She stands up but are being dragged back to the bed where she ends up on top of Pensler-Gabrielli who says: "Then come here and make it up to me." They begin to kiss each other and as they're rolling around on the bed, the scene fades out..

It's the same morning. DeMoss walks into Pensler-Gabrielli's bedroom after having taken a shower. She's once again on her way to work. DeMoss thanks Pensler-Gabrielli for everything and says that she's had a great time. She says this in a way which tells Pensler-Gabrielli that DeMoss thinks it was a one-night stand. Pensler-Gabrielli says: "What's this? Bye, bye or something?" DeMoss tries to explain: "I just assumed..." but are interrupted by Pensler-Gabrielli: "I wanna see you every minute that I'm here!" They kiss each other and then make plans for a dinner later that evening. Just as DeMoss is about to leave, the assistant/lover shows up and he's quite jealous.

They continue to see each other during Pensler-Gabrielli's stay at 'Eden'. One day when they're in Pensler-Gabrielli's suite, DeMoss says: "I've never met anyone like you before." They kiss each other a few times and then Pensler-Gabrielli tells her that she wants to continue seeing her after she's travelled back to New York. DeMoss says it's a really nice thought but explains that she hasn't got any vacation time because she has just started. Pensler-Gabrielli says that what she had in mind was a more permanent visit.
Seductively Pensler-Gabrielli says that she wants to buy her an apartment in New York, give her credit cards and so on...exactly the things a fortune seeker like DeMoss would love to be given, but she rejects the offer. The weeks they've spent together has changed DeMoss. She's developed real feelings for Pensler-Gabrielli. She wants to move to New York with her but she doesn't want to be given everything for free. She wants to work for a living so later on she instead tells Pensler-Gabrielli about an idea she has for a gym concept. She wants Pensler-Gabrielli to finance it.

They're getting ready for bed one evening. Pensler-Gabrielli suddenly says "thanks.." and when asked for what she says: "For not taking the bait, most people would have." DeMoss kisses Pensler-Gabrielli and softly says: "Make me feel good." Pensler-Gabrielli whispers back: "It's all I wanna do.."
The scene then switches to the bedroom. DeMoss is lying on her back and there's a close-up shot of Pensler-Gabrielli's mouth very slowly nearing DeMoss' breasts. She takes the nipple in her mouth and then licks on it. Next they're kissing each other and the scene ends with DeMoss putting her hand between Pensler-Gabrielli's legs.

DeMoss has a hard time convincing Pensler-Gabrielli that her gym idea will be profitable, that they can make any money out from it. One evening after a party where Pensler-Gabrielli's now ex-boyfriend behaved really bad towards her, DeMoss finds her at a swimming pool.
Pensler-Gabrielli is obviously not in a very good mood and lets it out on DeMoss by saying some not so nice things to her regarding DeMoss' past history in the gym business. Soon though, she feels really bad about what she just had said. She asks for forgiveness. She then joins DeMoss in the pool and they kiss each other twice.

The two of them are out jogging on the beach. Pensler-Gabrielli, obviously not as "sporty" as DeMoss, wants to take a break. After a while they begin to fool around in the water but are soon kissing each other and ripping each other's clothes off. They continue to kiss while rolling around in the water.

I don't know what went wrong over at Playboy when they did this tv-series, because it's excellent!! When you watch 'Eden', you actually feel like you're watching a regular low-budget daytime soap, but with sex scenes!
The second thing I don't understand is how they've managed to come up with such a nice lesbian sub-plot. First of all, the sexual orientation issue was never a part of the story. It's so refreshing to see a lesbian plot-line where the two women never discuss this. They've fallen for each other and that's it! It's as natural for them as any attraction between a man and a women ever could be. I want to see much more of this in mainstream productions.
I'm also weak when it comes to stories where a girl uses her looks and body to sexually tease a woman. I'm surprised how seldom you see this as a part of the build-up to a lesbian love scene. The love scenes between Pensler-Gabrielli and DeMoss were of course very soft, but I couldn't care less. Backed up by a story as exciting as this, they were amazing to watch!
