Most of the major young characters in the soap decide to go to Scotland to a music concert, but while trying to get there they get lost and crash their van on a derelict road in the middle of nowhere. The van blows up leaving them stranded. One of the major young female characters (Michelle Ryan) suffers the worst injury of all the teenagers. She possibly has a broken leg and they all dont know what to do. In the end most of them decide to go in search of help. They go searching in two groups of four and leave Michelle with Brooke Kinsella beside the van which is now completely burnt out. They stay there together and throughout the episode it comes back and forth to them, as they talk more and more about intimate things, before eventually kissing.

Actresses:
Brooke Kinsella & Michelle Ryan

The only real important scene, is near the end of the episode where Michelle is lying against the van with Brooke , and she is shivering from the cold and is barely staying consciuos. Brooke realises her friend is in danger and pleads with her to stay awake and not to leave her all alone, out here in the cold wilderness of the Scottish mountains. They talk for a couple of minutes, with Brooke trying hard to keep Michelle awake and conscious. She eventually succeeds and then she thanks Michelle for helping her get her life together and saving her from years on the game (Prostitution). She starts getting emotional and eventually tells Michelle she loves her and that she is the most important person in her life. Michelle thanks her and says she loves her too but she is very weak and it seems as though she may fall unconscious, so Brooke pleads with her to stay awake and with that they kiss. They lean in and kiss for just a few seconds. They step back and look! at each other before the scene cuts away.

The kiss was O.K. but you could see the actresses were not really into it as they touch lips for barely a few seconds and you could also see the akwardness in the kiss, as they lean in to each other, with closed mouths. Most other lesbian kisses in mainstream tv series have long open mouth kisses betweeen the women in question.
However, that said I did like the kiss, but my only grievances with it are that the director made us wait until they were in the scottish mountains, and one of them in great peril before they kiss. They could have easily had them kiss after coming home from a heavy night drinking in a bar. The other problem with it, was that I had to sit through nearly tewnty minutes of Barry and Janine's stupid wedding fiasco before we saw the kiss.
Also the way in which the two girls seem utterly disgusted about the kiss in the episodes afterwards, is rather dissappointing and really uncalled for, as it cannot be that uncomfortable for them, can it? They talk about the kiss with such contempt, that it makes you question why the writers even bothered having the kiss at all if they had no plan of taking it any further. In the end the actual akwardness and obvious restraint, from really getting into the kiss, and enjoying it by the two actresses, actually makes the kiss kind of endearing.

Eastenders is a long running English Soap, and this scene was their first ever Lesbian Kiss.

Actresses:
Brooke Kinsella & Michelle Ryan

Ryan and Kinsella headed to scotland for new years with there friends but the minibus they were in crashed and left Ryan worse off. Whilst everyone else went off for help Kinsella stayed behind to comfort her best friend Ryan.
Ryan was getting bad, Kinsella tried to keep her awake and told her how much she meant to her, then told Ryan "I love you", to which Ryan replied "I Love you too", then Kinsella kissed Ryan and Ryan responded.

This was a really sweet kiss, they were very gentle with eachother, and the scene faded out with them still kissing, very nice, both girls are stunning (usually).

In this episode of the soap opera two girls played by Michelle Ryan & Brooke Kinsella are stranded after a bus crash. Kinsella kisses Ryan goodbye as she thinks they are going to die, though the kiss is full on the mouth and was supposed to be the start of a lesbian storyline before the actresses/writers got cold feet and pulled the plug which is a crying shame.

Actresses:
Brooke Kinsella & Michelle Ryan

After the crash they are stranded and alone. Kinsella and Ryan tell each other they love one another and then kiss on the mouth though it is quite dark.

This should have been the start of a classic lesbian soap plot, shame on you Eastenders.=(

Eastenders is a soap opera set in Walford, East London. Michelle Ryan and Brooke Kinsella are best friends. For New Years Eve 2003, a group of the young characters take a bus up to Scotland for Hogmany.

Actresses:
Brooke Kinsella & Michelle Ryan

The Walford bus crashes on the road up to Scotland. Ryan breaks her ankle and is in extreme pain. The other youngsters go off in search of help, while Kinsella stays with Ryan. As midnight approaches, Kinsella becomes worried that Ryan will die. They reminise over their friendship. Kinsella runs her fingers through Ryan's hair and says "I love you", to which Ryan replies "I love you an' all" Kinsella touches Ryan's lip. Kinsella says "It's gonna be alright" and they just look at each other. Kinsella looks down at Ryan's lips and they kiss briefly. Then, they seem to enjoy it and have a nice long few kisses, before the shot pans out, to show them still kissing and the scene ends.

Nothing too graphic or anything, but wow! Michelle Ryan and Brooke Kinsella are the hottest girls in all English soap, and here they are kissing. I thnk the build up was great, and while it wasn't too special, i think the fact that that the girls are such birds and the fact that it was Eastenders boosted the score. Also, I read that it took four takes to get it right. My God!
