A ruthless serial-killer is killing women with an unusual weapon, a metal set square.
Otilia, manager of a faded singer, Nicole Cardente, suggests that she create some publicity for herself by pretending to receive death threats from the serial-killer.
However, the singer isn’t murdered, but the manager is.
The public prosecutor, Rita Facino, has to face the public impatient to find the assassin, while struggling with her boss’s diffidence towards a woman in a traditionally male profession.
