I've seen an Italian version which is totally uncut and I have to say that I definitely understand why they cut out some of the scenes before they released it to the theatres across the world...

This is one of the first efforts of Penthouse in the movie business, at least in the mainstream movie business. It purports to be an account of Caligula, one of several mad, dissolute, and degenerate Roman emperors. More fun for us, right?
The lesbian interest comes in a frustratingly short scene about two-thirds of the way through the movie. It is not essential to the plot and appears to be merely thrown in for prurient interest. Thanks! Anneka Di Lorenzo and Lori Wagner portray two Roman noblewomen, who steal off together for a short tryst during a thunderstorm. The whole scene probably lasts less than five minutes.
