A romantic comedy with a guy getting dumped by his new girlfriend (Amanda Detmer). He starts hanging out with her roomate, (Claire Forlani). Even though they don't admit it, they start falling in love with each other. Amanda talks about Claire's relationship to her therapist to try and help the situation.

The girls are watching TV in their room and Claire is leaning on Amanda. Amanda says that the girl on TV has the exact same top as her, but the one on Tv looks better, she says. Clare says "Go places, do stuff, get off your fatass!" Amanda replies "I don't wanna do anything without you, and I have a great ass!" Claire says she does, and they hug. Claire gives her a peck on the cheek ,and Amanda responds by trying to French kiss her. They get a brief one, and when Claire asks Amanda what she was doing, Amanda says "Kissing you" before freaking out and apologising.
Later she explains that she kissed her because she was afraid of losing her.

Though it was brief, the kiss was nice. Both actresses are very atractive, especially Claire Forlani and seeing them kissing was great. The build up did let it down a bit, though. However the film is great and I reccomend it strongly, not because of the kiss.
Forlani also said in an interview that kissing Detmer was different and in rehersals, when she was doing scenes with Freddie Prinze jr, they read the lines and said "That's where we kiss". But when she was doing it with Amanda Detmer ,she said that Amanda "leapt" towards her for a kiss in the practises. She said that helped a little.
