It is 2210, and vampires have become the greatest threat to mankind in outer space. We get to follow a group of vampire hunters on their travel across the galaxy.

Actresses:
Leanne Adachi & Natassia Malthe

Two of the vampire hunters are women. One is a butch looking Asian (Leanne Adachi), and the one is a leather-clad vampire (Natassia Malthe). Leanne very much dislikes having a vampire in the group, and she lets Natassia be aware of this constantly. This nearly leads to a fight between them in the beginning of the movie.
Later on, it turns out that Leanne isn't as disgusted by Natassia as she gives the expression to be. When the group are onboard the ship, Leanne overhears a conversation between one of crew members and Natassia, and then she hears some moaning, She can't see them, but she's convinced what's going on, and she walks away in anger. At this point, it's unclear of who she is jealous. She confronts the male crew member afterwards about what she heard, and he says that nothing physical happened. He explains to her that Natassia has a psychic ability that can make other people's memories of past sexual encounters seem like they happen there and now. Natassia helped him experience memories of him and his deceased wife. Then he adds that Leanne should go see Natassia herself.
Near the end of the movie, Leanne finally begins to trust Natassia, and they become friends. In the very last scene in the movie, the two of them are alone in a room onboard the ship. Leanne says to Natassia: "This sex thing you do, does it have to be a memory or could it be something more...in the present?" Natassia gives Leanna a seductive look, and asks her: "What do you have in mind?" Natassia doesn't wait for her answer. She leans forward and begins to kiss Leanne's neck, and the movie ends.

This was a great movie for me, since I love both sci-fi and (female) vampires. I rent everything in these two genres, including this one. As a huge bonus, I got to see a very interesting (and unexpected!) relationship develop between the two women. I've seen so many action movies with these two types of female characters, one who is butch looking and is always being portrayed as non-sexual, and one who is feminine looking and is always falling in love with the male lead character. This movie is a wonderful exception to this!
