Super hot chapter in the late night erotic anthology has a fustrated writer having a strange encounter with a (beautiful) homeless woman out on the street, who kisses her passionatly and then dissappears. When she later finds out that this woman is dead, she strikes up a friendship with a sultry, mysterious woman who apparently knew the homeless girl. After much build up and chatting with wine in hand, the mysterous woman seduces her new writer friend into bed.

Actresses: Michelle Lipper & Paule Ducharme
There's lots of build up here, with Ducharme as the slightly older woman obviously trying to get the more naive Lipper into the sack. The big scene itself is in two parts, with the first featuring the two girls in front of a gold backdrop. The lighting renders them in shilloutte form, although the camera never swoops around or anything tacky like that. Lipper is naked, sitting in a chair, and very nervous. After explaining that she's never been with a woman before, Duchame slowly caresses her before sitting directly across from her in another chair. While facing her, Duchame SPREADS HER LEGS! Pretty daring for a TV series, even considering they are only shadows at this point. We then flash into bed, with the two of them making rather passionate love to each other. Duchame is on top for most of it, with the camera alternating between two positions (the side of the bed, and at the foot of the bed) with even a brief view of Duchame's buttocks thrusting forward! The pitch of their moaning and grunting gets higher and faster, with Lipper eventually having an orgasm, her back arching up and mouth wide open in long gasping sigh. In a nice touch, Lipper kisses Duchame softly one more time before curling up in her arms.

Although there are a few other episodes of "Bliss" with lesbian themes or scenes ("The Marvellon" has a lipstick lesbian hooking up with a butch for the first time; While "Tying up Gerald" has a brief scene of a housewife visiting a female dominatrix; And "Voice" has a woman haunted by the sexual spirit of the wronged wife of a male lover.) "Leaper" is the best, with great build up that's in two stages, and a whopper of a sex scene considering this is a TV series. In my opinion, the fact that Lipper is straight and gives in to her unspoken curiosity is what really turns the heat on in the episode. The story itself is a little bit glum, but otherwise top notch stuff if you can catch the rerun.
