An English drama based in a women's prison. In this episode two new characters were introduced. Prison officer Selena Geeson played by Charlotte Lucas, and inmate Kris Yates played by Jennifer Ness.

Jennifer has been settling into her new home in Larkhall prison. Earlier in the episode we found out that Jennifer is a lesbian, so I guess this was somewhat expected, but I was even surprised, by what happened next in this episode, when Charlotte enters Jennifer's cell and closes the door. We would assume that she may be in trouble, but we are all pleasantly surprised when Charlotte walks up Jennifer, and gives her a passionate kiss on the lips. We then learn that they are lovers and that Charlotte transfered here to Larkhall prison to be with her.

Later in the episode Jennifer begins to feel the pressure of the prison, and feels down, but Charlotte comes to her cell and tells her to cheer up, and to think of her before she goes to sleep tonight. Charlotte then kisses her and this seems to brighten Jennifer's spirit.

A good English drama, however being based in a female prison, a lesbian relationship is rather expected anyway. That said I was still very surprised when Charlotte kissed Jennifer. It was definitely a nice change from the cliché of a male officer taking advantage of the female inmates. Two great kisses, the first very passionate and surprising, and the second was very good too. Jennifer seemed a little surprised with the second kiss, but she soon got into it and everything worked out. A good series and great lesbian relationship.
