The movie is based on the life of the Swedish author Agnes von Krusenstjerna, who wrote some really controversial books during the 1930's and 1940's. Many of them were portraying lesbian relationships.

This was an awful movie...really slow tempo, dialogue between characters seemed to go on forever. The kissing scene was ok but it was a little bit unrealistic having middle-aged actresses playing two sexually inexperienced teenagers.
