"Crack'd Xmas," the seventh annual holiday fundraiser benefitting a free telephone support line designed to provide help and assistance to young gay people, paid tribute to "Will & Grace" stars Debra Messing and Megan Mullally, and the two comedy queens--no pun intended-did not fail to raise to the same-sex spirit of the occasion.
After Allison Janney introduced a clip package that featured the women's funniest moments from the show, including many, many clips of the two kissing or fondling each other's breasts, the actresses joined each other on stage to accept their awards.
Debra began a serious acceptance speech and then suddenly said: "I'm sorry, I can't stop thinking about your mouth." The two lunged onto each other and began making out passionately for several minutes, knocking their awards off the podium to the wild whoops of the appreciative audience. Debra and Megan stopped kissing, collected themselves for a moment, then dove into another lengthy make-out session.
When at last they unlocked lips, Megan said: "Is there anything better than making out in front of a room full of queers and half the cast of Desperate Housewives?"
"If there is, I haven't done it," Debra replied.
