'Expressen', August 1st, 2003: (excerpt from article) "I love girls" Expedition Robinson (Survivor) contestant Zübeyde Simsek says that she's been questioning her sexuality the last couple of years. "I've had sex with girls. I love looking at girls, their bodies are so much sexier and beautiful." Her relationships with men have always been very disappointing she says. "There's always this game between men and women which I believe don't exist in lesbian relationships. I don't think you can have a serious relationship with a man, as men and women speak such different languages." But Zübeyde says her turkish background might prove an obstacle the day she decides to come out. "I'm raised in a culture where a relationship only can involve a man and a woman. It will be very difficult for my family to accept this." There is already a woman she's thinking about..."It's not something I want to talk about, but I really love her as a person." ...... As a side note: Two female contestants on both Expedition Robinson (Survivor) and The Bachelor have revealed to swedish newspapers that they've had sex with each other during the productions. All four girls unfortunately wanted to be anonymous, so I can not present any names or pictures of them. The funniest reaction came from the Bachelor himself. When a newspaper told him that two of the girls who were supposed to want him more than anything else, actually prefered each other, he became very upset. "It's sick!" he said. Personally I think it's highly amusing! :) One of the other girls on "The Bachelor" was much more understanding when she was told about the two girls. She said that it might very well be true because the mood among the girls who were staying at the resort was very romantic.
