'Globe Magazine', unknown issue: Hollywood has turned into a no man's land where it's ultrachic for both gay gals and straight starlets to date women. And sources say one of the most recent members to join the girls club is Titanic director James Cameron's estranged wife LINDA HAMILTON (actress - "Terminator", "Terminator 2 - Judgment Day", TV's "Beauty and the Beast"). One look at the exclusive GLOBE photos of the Terminator actress and live-in galpal Cindy Short at LA airport and it's clear Cindy's been a constant comfort and companion for Linda since Cameron ran off with another woman last spring. "Linda and Cindy were very affectionate," says an eyewitness. "They definitely looked like they were more than just friends." GLOBE first revealed that Linda had become close to Cindy, a stuntwoman, in February 1997 when Cindy's husband, Mike Deerheim, accused the two women of having a lesbian affair. The gals saw less of each other when Linda married Cameron - the father of her daughter Josephine - in July of that year. But, insiders told us in May that Linda moved Cindy back into her $1.6 million Malibu home months before her marriage to Cameron ended.
