'Celebrity Sleuth' magazine, Woman To Woman issue: Comedienne Sandra Bernhard first met gorgeous Venezuelan supermodel Patricia Velasquez when she accepted the inviatation to be in Commes Des Garcons show in Paris March of 1992. Sandra talks about the first time she saw Patricia: "How strange and beautiful to see this incredible woman-child sitting on the floor next to a rack of black strapless dresses. She drew me in, and I turned and said: Look at this girl. She is the most wonderful thing I've ever seen. I have to have her! Who knew that I was to meet the love of my life here." "I kept staring at her and when she finally look up and noticed me, I embarrassedly responded, Oh, I'm sorry I keep staring, but I'm really out of it, I'm starving - as a matter of fact I was thinking of eating you! 'She laughed so I figured she got it only to discover later she had no idea what I was talking about - English is her third language!" Sandra about the first time they made love: "I told her to meet me at my hotel that afternoon...She came over 45 minutes later, bringing pastries which I ate as I caressed her arm and gently persuaded her to kiss me, which she did quite incredibly! She stayed with me that night I haven't stopped thinking about her since." I don't know whether they became romantically involved but at least they kept contact during four years because according to a 'New York Post' article in Febrary 1996, they were seen all over the town together. I have also read an interview with Sandra at the Popcorn Q site in 1999 where she told the interviewer about a relationship she was working on: "Yeah, it's sort of an ongoing relationship," she smirks. "It's sort of going and stopping and going and stopping. It's been a rough year. I broke up with somebody, well somebody broke up with me actually after five years and then I started seeing someone else and then she wanted to get back together again but I don't know, it's been a weird year."
