Hella von Sinnen is a German TV-comedienne and Cornelia Scheel is the daughter of the former German Bundes President Walter Scheel. They planned to get married 1992 but German law didn't allow lesbian/gay marriages at that time. They did get married though in 1999 in Hamburg when same sex marriages finally had become legal.
